Mother’s Guest Rooms

We arrived at Mother’s late last night after the long drive and I have to admit that I paid little attention to where the kids ended up sleeping. I know they went to the guest rooms upstairs, but they settled in quickly and were sound asleep without much nagging or prodding from the adults.

This morning when I woke them up for breakfast, I noticed for the first time that Mother had completely redecorated the two upstairs guest rooms. The one for the boys was done in a cowboys theme, with western curtains and new western table lamps. Everything was in different shades of brown with some blue for accent. She had bought the curtains and lamps from a web site that specializes in western decor, called westerncowboyhomedecor.com. The room was very cleverly put together and the boys just love it - it makes them feel very special that their Grandmother would decorate a room just for them.
